This is one of those recipes that becomes an instant favorite. Make it once, and you’ll get requests for it at every gathering after that. It’s incredibly simple to put together (just don’t let on how easy it is!)

- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green or red pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
Let’s Cook!
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased 9-inch pie plate.
- Combine the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Sprinkle half over the cream cheese layer.
- Spoon the pizza sauce evenly over the cheese, then top with chopped peppers and onions.
- Finish by sprinkling the remaining cheese over the top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Cool slightly (we’ve made the mistake of digging in too quickly after removing from the oven) and serve with tortilla chips or breadsticks for dipping.
This dip always disappears fast, no matter how much I make. Perfect for picnics, game day, family movie night, or any time you want a little cheesy, melty comfort on the table.
Eat well, friends!
