Our family is split on cannolis which often upsets me! If you love cannoli but don’t want to deal with piping, these Mini Cannoli Cups are the perfect shortcut! All the rich, creamy filling and sweet chocolate chip goodness—just in a bite-sized, no-fuss format. These are a hit for parties, holidays, or anytime you’re craving that signature cannoli flavor without the work. And let me just say, it did unite all camps.

- 1 cup cannoli shells, crushed (you can also substitute graham crackers)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz. Mascarpone cheese
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips (or more if you’re inclined!)
Let’s cook!
- Line 36 mini muffin cups
- Mix together the crushed cannoli shells and melted butter. Press into the bottom of each muffin cup.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Spoon or pipe the filling into each mini shell, filling them to the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours to allow the filling to set. (Honestly, friends—this is the hardest part!)
- Garnish just before serving, if desired, with a sprinkle of extra chocolate chips, orange zest, cinnamon, or crushed pistachios.
Bonus Tip: Have extra filling? Serve it with cannoli chips, graham crackers, or fresh fruit.
So good and gives you all the tastes you love in a cannoli. Now I can’t wait to experiment with other flavors!
Eat well friends!
