Shake, Pour, Enjoy (now or Later): Make-Ahead Bloody Marys

Probably the best part of my golf game is the snacks and beverages I bring to the round. That’s ok, everyone has a talent! This is the perfect beverage for brunch or to prepare for a round of golf (especially since I tend to forget drinks and scramble madly to put them together before serving!)

24oz tomato juice
1 tbsp prepared horseradish
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp season salt
Tabasco to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
1 cup vodka (I don’t pretend to be an expert in this area, but my local liquor store recommended Luksusowa Vodka, which we’re happy with)

All you need to do is mix everything together the night before and let it chill in the fridge till you’re ready. We skipped the garnish because we were heading to the course, if you’re serving brunch, get fancy and have all the garnishes ready for people to choose (celery, lemon wedges, olives, bacon…the choices are endless!)

  1. […] To round out the feast, I served our favorite blueberry lemon loaf and some make-ahead Bloody Mary’s. […]
