Christmas Treats: Three Ingredient Peppermint Fudge

Honestly friends, I almost feel bad posting this one because it’s so simple and really is only three ingredients. But that’s exactly why I love it. It’s the kind of treat you can pull together when you’ve got a last-minute party, need a quick thank-you gift, or just want to add something chocolatey to your dessert tray that everyone will rave about.

This fudge? She never lets me down.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • Crushed peppermint candy

Honestly, that’s it.

Let’s Cook!

  • Line an 8×8 cake pan with foil and smooth the surface. Spray generously with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Combine the chocolate chips and milk in a bowl and heat over a pot of water. Stir it constantly until everything is melted (it probably won’t take more than 10 minutes).
  • Remove it from the heat and keep stirring until smooth.
  • If you leave it on the heat too long, the texture gets a little rough (yes, that’s the voice of experience).
  • Pour into the prepared cake pan and smooth everything out with a spatula. Sprinkle with the crushed peppermint.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours to let it set up.
  • Cut into small squares. Try not to nibble the edges while you do… or do. It’s the holidays.
