Easy Homemade Snickerdoodles (Makes 3–4 Dozen!)

Ingredients
  

  • c sugar
  • 1 c unsalted butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • c flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ c sugar for rolling
  • 2 tsp cinnamon for rolling

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 375°.
  • Mix sugar, butter, and eggs in a large bowl.
  • Stir in cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, mixing until well blended.
  • Add the flour.
  • Roll dough into 1¼ inch balls.
  • Mix ¼ cup sugar + cinnamon.
  • Roll balls into cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
  • Bake 8–10 minutes until set.
  • Remove from cookie sheet.
  • Cool on wire rack.
