Instructions
Toast bread slices for five minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Remove from oven, flip slices over.
Fry bacon until it’s cooked to your desired crispiness
Crumble the bacon, mix with onion, mayo, Swiss, pepper.
Place a slice of tomato on bread if used.
Spread bacon mix on bread.
Put under broiler until bubbling. (5-7 minutes)
Notes
Keep an eye on them while broiling so they don't get too browned.
Let them cool for a few minutes before serving — trust me, burning the roof of your mouth does not make for a festive party favor.
These can be assembled several hours in advance. Just place them on a cookie sheet and refrigerate until ready to broil and serve.
